New Additions To Schools In Canada
Filed Under Learn Animal Massage, Schools | Leave a Comment
Just a quick note to let you all know that I just added a few more schools to the Canadian list. New modalities include:
- Animal Chiropractic
- Veterinary Homeopathy
- Heilkunst
- Feldenkrais for Riders
- Equine Bowen
- Animal Communication
What is Heilkunst, you ask? According to the Hahnemann Center, it “encompasses an extensive variety of health-promoting methods, ranging from nutrition, exercise and lifestyle choices, through various therapies to support one’s innate natural healing power (massage, manipulation, energy work), to medicine (first aid, acute and chronic diseases) and into the realm of spiritual evolution.”
And what about Feldenkrais? It is the method that inspired Linda Tellington-Jones to develop her now world-famous TTEAM and TTouch treatments, and I quote from Feldenkrais.com: “The Feldenkrais Method is a form of somatic education that uses gentle movement and directed attention to improve movement and enhance human functioning. Through this Method, you can increase your ease and range of motion, improve your flexibility and coordination, and rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement. These improvements will often generalize to enhance functioning in other aspects of your life.”
