The spring season in the UK is as active as it is here in the US, and “special days” abound as well. As usual, if you know of an event that belongs on this list, just contact me and let me know, and I will add it. May It has definitely been a cold spring around here, but the trees are finally starting to show signs of life and you can tell that as soon as the real warmth hits, it’ll all happen overnight. As always, this is an incredibly busy season with lots of classes and workshops all over the country, and almost [...] Happy Spring, everybody! Here in the northeastern US, it is starting out wonderfully – the sun is shining, the snow is melting, and I saw the first snowdrops of the season just the other day. And just like here in the US, there is plenty of activity and many fun workshops scheduled for the next few [...] We’re almost through another winter and with spring around the corner, activity is picking up everywhere. This is one of the longest lists we have had so far, and there are lots of fun classes going on all around the country. As usual, if you know of an event that belongs on this list, please contact [...] First of all, I apologize for publishing this a bit later than usual – we had (and still have) family visiting from overseas for the holidays, and I have been too busy having “offline” fun (and cooking!). Just squeezing the last bit out of summer and spending the remaining warm weekends in nature) and I wish I could go back again for several of these [...] Summer is almost over and it’s time to get back to work and school. While it’s always sad to see my favorite season come to an end, fall comes in as a close second with its crisp, clear air and gorgeous colors of nature. May Birds are singing, lilacs are in bloom and I’m wearing flip flops – spring is here and with it lots of events and fun things to do. It has been a record warm season here in the Northeast and apparently the pollen count is extremely high.
