Happy Spring, everybody! Here in the northeastern US, it is starting out wonderfully – the sun is shining, the snow is melting, and I saw the first snowdrops of the season just the other day. And just like here in the US, there is plenty of activity and many fun workshops scheduled for the next few [...] Today’s post is a great video talk by Jo Maldonado on energy therapies for both humans and dogs, and how our thoughts and feelings impact our animals. The practitioner list for the UK will be divided into England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, just like the school list. For now, the list is in alphabetical order – once it gets longer, it will will be divided into separate areas. I have been using various homeopathic remedies every now and then on myself for many years now, but haven’t really studied the subject. Some were recommended to us by my husband’s acupuncturist, some I happened to come across on my own and found that they worked really well for me. This past weekend, I attended the first Conference on Complementary Animal Healing in Boxborough, MA, organized by Maureen Harmonay of Animal Translations, and wanted to share my notes with you. In the UK, things are also winding down for the holidays, and many of the higher level classes are being held this time of year (so they are not on the list since I only list introductory and foundation courses). As usual, if you have or know of an event that belongs on this list, [...] I just the other day found out about this very interesting upcoming conference in Boxborough, MA, and wanted to share it with you. Happy fall everyone! I hope you had a fantastic summer with lots of fun stuff going on. I finally got to go home to Sweden to see friends and family – it had been 3 years since the last visit, so that was a big treat. And while I was there, I took the chance [...] I had the pleasure of visiting England for a class earlier this summer (I keep promising a separate post about that, and it’s coming eventually, I swear! Just squeezing the last bit out of summer and spending the remaining warm weekends in nature) and I wish I could go back again for several of these [...] It seems like things slow down and people take the chance to take some time off in July and August in the UK, so the event list is a bit shorter than usual. There are still some great workshops scheduled though, so definitely take a look to see if there is one in your area. [...] Spring swooshed by in a blur as usual, and here we are at the beginning of summer again. It’s one of my favorite times of year – the days are long, sunny and warm, and you have the whole glorious summer ahead of you.
