Amy and Nancy are the founders and owners of Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in Castle Pines, CO. The spring season in the UK is as active as it is here in the US, and “special days” abound as well. As usual, if you know of an event that belongs on this list, just contact me and let me know, and I will add it. It has definitely been a cold spring around here, but the trees are finally starting to show signs of life and you can tell that as soon as the real warmth hits, it’ll all happen overnight. As always, this is an incredibly busy season with lots of classes and workshops all over the country, and almost [...] Happy Spring, everybody! Here in the northeastern US, it is starting out wonderfully – the sun is shining, the snow is melting, and I saw the first snowdrops of the season just the other day. And just like here in the US, there is plenty of activity and many fun workshops scheduled for the next few [...] First of all, I apologize for publishing this a bit later than usual – we had (and still have) family visiting from overseas for the holidays, and I have been too busy having “offline” fun (and cooking!). The holidays are almost over and it’s soon time to go back to our “everyday lives” again. I hope you all got some rest and had a wonderful, cozy Christmas and will have a festive New Years. Here’s to a healthy and happy 2013! Photo by Jesse 757 It’s hard to believe that another year has gone by and we’re looking at the events for the last two months of 2012. Where does the time go? Things are winding down, and most of the events on this list are in November. Partly because many of the higher levels of courses take place towards [...] Happy fall everyone! I hope you had a fantastic summer with lots of fun stuff going on. I finally got to go home to Sweden to see friends and family – it had been 3 years since the last visit, so that was a big treat. And while I was there, I took the chance [...] I had the pleasure of visiting England for a class earlier this summer (I keep promising a separate post about that, and it’s coming eventually, I swear! Just squeezing the last bit out of summer and spending the remaining warm weekends in nature) and I wish I could go back again for several of these [...] Summer is almost over and it’s time to get back to work and school. While it’s always sad to see my favorite season come to an end, fall comes in as a close second with its crisp, clear air and gorgeous colors of nature. Activity is picking up everywhere, and there are lots of fun [...] It seems like things slow down and people take the chance to take some time off in July and August in the UK, so the event list is a bit shorter than usual. There are still some great workshops scheduled though, so definitely take a look to see if there is one in your area. [...] Spring swooshed by in a blur as usual, and here we are at the beginning of summer again. It’s one of my favorite times of year – the days are long, sunny and warm, and you have the whole glorious summer ahead of you. As I’m writing this, I am getting ready to head over [...] As I mentioned in the Events & Workshops list for for March and April, I am still building up the list of regularly scheduled workshops and classes in the UK, so please let me know if you know of any that belong on this list. Birds are singing, lilacs are in bloom and I’m wearing flip flops – spring is here and with it lots of events and fun things to do. It has been a record warm season here in the Northeast and apparently the pollen count is extremely high. Happily, it seems like the NAET treatments I got [...] As I mentioned in my post yesterday, I decided to split up the Events & Workshops lists into US/Canada and the UK. There is so much going on in the next few months that keeping them all together would result in a ridiculously long list, plus I think this makes more sense. After what has been one of the weather-wise best winters ever in my opinion (no snow, only a few days below freezing), it’s starting to feel like spring. Every morning, the birds are singing outside my window, and there is a glimmer of daylight left when I leave work in the evening. It really does [...] It’s been a while since we featured a school here on AMG, but today, we have an interview with Lola Michelin, founder and Director of Education of The Northwest School of Animal Massage (NWSAM), located in Vashon, WA. Once again, the holidays are almost behind us and it’s time to get back to business. Workshop activity is picking up a bit again, and I am also in the process of updating the visiting courses for 2012 (listed at the end of each country’s school list).
