As I mentioned in the Events & Workshops list for for March and April, I am still building up the list of regularly scheduled workshops and classes in the UK, so please let me know if you know of any that belong on this list. The Northwest School of Animal Massage was founded in 2001 in response to the growing demand for approved [...] Once again, the holidays are almost behind us and it’s time to get back to business. Workshop activity is picking up a bit again, and I am also in the process of updating the visiting courses for 2012 (listed at the end of each country’s school list). I should be done with that in the [...] This is the shortest events and workshops list we have had here so far. Partly because everyone is taking some much needed time off to focus on the holiday festivities (and hopefully get some rest too), and partly because I decided to adjust the lists so that they run per calendar year. October is I have added quite a few more schools, workshops and classes to the animal massage school lists. This is a short synopsis of the additions – more information is on the list for each country. I have also updated the visiting classes and workshops for 2011 on each list, however, not all practitioners have finalized their [...] I’ve just added even more schools to some of the lists as well as a few events to the Events & Workshops in Feb – March 2010. It seems that Tierheilpraktiker (“animal healing practitioner”) training is very popular in Germany. The training includes subjects such as homeopathy, physiotherapy, animal psychology, Bach flowers, leech therapy (!), [...] I have received quite a few questions about animal massage schools in South Africa, and here are the alternative animal health schools, classes and workshops I’ve managed to find so far (in alphabetical order). As always, I will keep adding to the list when I find more, and as usual, please let me know if you [...] I’ve been doing a little bit of holiday cleaning here at AMG, and have updated and added a bunch of new schools to the different lists. The UK list in particular has been totally revamped with lots of new additions, and I have also divided all the schools there into England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and [...] Going back and forth between websites and trying to compare schools and programs can be both time consuming and confusing. To save you all a little bit of time, I’ve put together a short comparison of the more comprehensive canine massage programs available in the US (in order by state). Note that most of these [...] I have not been able to find a whole lot of holistic animal health schools in New Zealand, and none that focus solely on animal massage, but here are the alternative animal health schools, workshop and classes I have found so far (in alphabetical order). I will keep adding to it as I come across more, [...] After hearing from many readers looking for massage schools in mainland Europe, I put together this list of alternative and complementary animal health schools, courses and workshops.
